Dispute Resolution

“Discourage litigation.  Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can.  As a peacemaker the lawyer has a superior opportunity of being a good man.  There will be business enough.”

Abraham Lincoln said that when he was a successful and widely respected real estate and trial lawyer in Illinois.  His statement applies equally well today. That is, after all, one of a lawyer’s highest callings.

While I am no longer actively litigating, I may be able to use my litigation experience to help resolve your case before it gets into the court system. Since more than 90% of cases ultimately settle, it may be helpful to consider early opportunities for alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.
